This is where I'm keeping my notes for dance cam

Use Pixy cam (CMUCam5) to track dancers and videotape them

Create pan/tilt mounting bracket for camcorder which will aim camcorder at dancers.

Use dancers clothing as pixy color codes to track dancers.

May need separate color codes for women in backless dresses, etc

Idea - use mirror to allow us to move the pixie board around to the side of the mount.

Alternatively, create a version where the lens is mounted at 90 degrees to the board (rather than flat on the board).  Open source hardware.

Should work on tripod mount with normal screw.

For smoothness, do lots of little (smooth) adjustments when the image is relatively centered.  only do fast movements when image is near edge.
